Thanks!!
Our first proper meeting was a half casual lunch in Cambridge- we went through the names of our thing, the ideas, the cost, the prices, the types, the method of selling....and zillion other things....
We went into the shops to see whether there were similar products,
We were seeing how much stuff were selling at market square,
We were thinking how much we could sell if we are really putting a stall up in market square.
With heart felt gratefulness, I like to take this opportunity to say a HUGE thank you to my dear Miss T!!!

Welcome
Welcome to The Handmade Bakery personal blog diary =) this blog will reveal to you some of the 'back kitchen' of the bakery as well as talking about my short time of being a 'baker!
Let's start by a question...a question which you might have in your mind as many other people, actually I've been asked that question so many times...
What got you into making fabric cakes?
If I have to give an honest and simple answer, it will be: I don't know.
Thinking back I cannot trace the exact thing or the exact moment of what got me into it, perhaps it was those photos I got from a friend randomly which shows really professional fabric cakes- and unsurprisingly, they are japanese fabric cakes! But was it really those photos that got me into it- I don't really know....
Carrying on with the japanese link, the first proper cake I made- a cake which looked good enough to be sent out as a gift was a wedding cake for my sister's japanese friend.
Looking back this is still one of best cakes I have made, despite it was made about 6 years ago. hahah...probably only on the photo it looks ok, tehnical skills was probably very minimal at that point!
Right since it's getting pretty late now- I would need to put a full stop to this blog entry, how ever much I wanna tell you more about my part-time life as a 'baker'!
I hope you'll enjoy your time there- come back every now and then for upcoming new products!! I assure you they are getting better and better- cuter and cuter! =P
God Bless!!
Lilyxx
